Adas Yeshurun Synagogue fosters commitment to the tenets of Conservative Judaism, encouraging participation of all members in the observance of Jewish rituals, traditions and life-cycle events. We provide an atmosphere of community and camaraderie as well as a supportive environment for worship and education. We strive to maintain high standards of ethical behavior and serve as a source of strength and support for each other in times of need. We are committed to K’lal Yisrael, the greater Jewish family, and particularly to Medinat Yisrael, the State of Israel.

Mission Statment

 

The Adas Yeshurun Sisterhood is interested in the preservation of traditional Judaism and recognizes that the home, the Synagogue, and its religious school are necessary to further these ideals. The purpose of this organization shall be to aid and assist the Adas Yeshurun Synagogue in achieving these goals to further its growth and to broaden its activities. The Adas Yeshurun Sisterhood recognizes its responsibility to its membership and synagogue to formulate ideals of leadership which may serve as a standard toward which we can all strive. The ultimate goal for its membership is ascending achievement in personal Jewish development. It is the express hope that our leadership will provide the paradigm for others to emulate.
